THE "GREAT AUSSIE BITE" STORY
In early 2002, we
undertook
an extensive review of
the fast food and
quick service restaurant sector in Australia. We
carefully
examined these industries to determine what
new opportunities, if any, existed.
When
we looked at emerging industrial / commercial
areas around
Australia we found that a real opportunity
existed to create a
new quality food and beverage brand.
We believed that
local workers, drivers and travellers
would embrace
somewhere that they recognised
and felt
comfortable to drop-in, knowing they would
enjoy consistent,
high quality, good value for money food,
backed up with
exceptional customer service.
To seize this
opportunity we set about creating
a vibrant and easily recognisable new Aussie brand.
WHAT IS "GREAT AUSSIE
BITE" ABOUT ?
Great Aussie Bite is an original fun filled “Aussie memorabilia themed”
food and
beverage outlet with an ever changing
collection of
Aussie memorabilia – ranging from sporting heroes, rockers like
AC/DC and classics of Aussie design like the HT Monaro or GTO
Ford Falcon.
Even the infamous get a mention with
Mark Chopper Read
and Ned Kelly.
Our simple mission
being to provide all our customers
with a
mouthwatering range of burgers, fries, freshly baked
baguettes, homestyle “Redback”®
pies and
of course our own ”ITALIANISSIMO”®
coffee.
By only using
"fresh not frozen" burger patties
we believe that
after eating any of our juicy burgers
you
will join the ever growing list of burgerholics®
who love the Great
Aussie Bite experience.
